Neuschwanstein Castle

After a good rest, we drove south to Schwangau via the Autobahn. Great roads, fun to drive, and be sure to mind the passing lane! Schwangau is home to two 19th century castles, Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein (pictured). Both were very impressive, and the setting is incredibly beautiful.

Great food so far, too--the Germans have certainly perfected sausage, potatoes, and the like.

We're really enjoying everything so far. Southern Germany is a beautiful place. Until next time, good night!
